Everything you need to run a button: make an account, connect a CRM with a key we never keep, and follow the steps for each tool that is live today.
Each button is a single-purpose tool that does one job your CRM left undone. You open it in the browser, connect the relevant CRM for that one run, and get your result. There is nothing to install on your CRM and no suite to learn.
Every button follows the same shape:
The Missing Buttons is an independent product and is not affiliated with any CRM or email vendor. Every button talks to its CRM through that vendor's own public API.
You can preview any button without an account. To download a file, you sign in first, which is what links your activity and your free-download tally to you.
Head to the sign-up page and choose either method below. There is no password to set.
Same two options on the sign-in page. If a magic link is slow, give it a minute and check spam, or use Continue with Google to get straight in.
Sign-in is handled by us directly; we are not affiliated with Google or any CRM vendor, those are simply login options.
Each button asks for the credentials of the one CRM it works with, entered fresh each run. Here is where each lives. If a label is slightly different in your account, look for the API or Developer area of your settings.
Open your profile menu in the top corner, go to Profile settings, then the API settings section, and copy Your API key. Your domain is the address you log in at, like yourcompany.myfreshworks.com. The Marketing-to-pipeline bridge also needs a Freshmarketer fm-token, found in the Freshmarketer API settings.
We are not affiliated with Freshworks, Freshsales, or Freshmarketer.
In ActiveCampaign, open Settings then Developer. Copy the API URL (it looks like youraccount.api-us1.com) and the API key shown beside it.

MailPoet lives inside WordPress, so this button reads through a tiny read-only connector plugin you install once. After activating it, the plugin shows a connector key; paste that key and your WordPress site URL into the button.
We are not affiliated with MailPoet, Automattic, or WordPress.
Click Connect with Salesforce on any Salesforce button and approve the read-only OAuth prompt; you are bounced straight back, nothing to copy. Advanced alternative: paste a session token from an existing login. If you use token auth and need a fresh security token, in Salesforce open your avatar, then Settings, then Reset My Security Token. Sandbox orgs: tick Sandbox before connecting.

In HubSpot open Settings, then Integrations, then Private Apps, then Create a private app. On the Scopes tab grant read scopes only (crm.objects.contacts.read, crm.lists.read, plus the object the tool mentions). Create the app and copy the token starting pat-. Paste it into the button; revoke the app any time from the same screen.

In Klaviyo click your account name, then Settings, then API keys, then Create Private API Key. Grant read access for export and audit tools; write access only for the tools that change things (purge, list remove, clone, coupon refill). Copy the key starting pk_ and paste it into the button.
We are not affiliated with Klaviyo.
In Mailchimp open your avatar, then Account & billing, then Extras, then API keys, then Create A Key. Copy the key; it ends with your data-center suffix like -us21, and the button needs that suffix to find your server. Paste it into the button.
